Assess the wind
Start by noting the direction of the wind – feel it on your face, notice the sway of the trees, or wet your finger.
Remember, our Kite Kits are designed for light wind, so don’t try on a very windy day – about 5-15 mph or 8-24kph is great.
Keep in mind that the lighter the material you use is, the better the kite will fly. add unnecessary weight and the kite will not be aerodynamic.
Construction paper, string, pipe cleaners/sticks, scissors, colored pencils/markers (optional), tape (optional), and a ruler.
